During cardiac arrest, every second counts

Over 140.000 times a year, someone in Germany suffers a cardiac arrest... first they become unconscious and then they stop breathing. Now every second counts and the faster resuscitation measures are taken, the higher the chance of saving the life of the person affected.

Using defibrillators saves lives

In addition to classic chest compressions, the delivery of an electric shock, if indicated, is the most effective measure and studies show that if a defibrillator is used within the first five minutes after a cardiac arrest, the chance of survival is a good 80%!

Resuscitation can be learned – even for lay rescuers!

In order to practice using these now common AEDs - automatic external defibrillators - and also to refresh the basic measures such as chest compressions and ventilation from the last first aid course, we regularly offer resuscitation training.

target audience

This course format starts at the lay assistant level. For already trained first aiders and emergency services above this level of knowledge, course formats are based on the standards of the American Heart Association (AHA) or in the area of Tactical medicine offered.
