TCRH: Training center of the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV)

We offer various types of training, further education and training in the medical field, including being a body authorized by the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV) to provide training and further education in the field of first aid.

First Aid: The Standard

The classic first aid course now only lasts 9 teaching units (UE) - so it can be completed in one day. The amendment shortened a lot of theoretical content and brought new methodological and didactic teaching methods with a lot of practical content to the fore.

But why take a first aid course at all? Is the emergency service not there quickly enough?

True, the emergency services are usually on site within a certain time frame, but in the case of heavily bleeding wounds or cardiac arrest, for example, first aiders can save lives with just a few simple steps. The topics of the first aid course include:

  • the recognition of disorders of consciousness
  • the creation of the side position (including heat preservation)
  • the correct procedure for cardiac arrest - aids such as an automatic external defibrillator - AED for short - are also shown and can be tried out
  • the care of wounds that bleed to varying degrees.

Other clinical pictures

But clinical pictures such as a stroke, heart attack or an epileptic seizure are also discussed and practical care and procedures are practiced using case studies.

First aid training

In the EH training, which is usually attended as a refresher or repetition course, the focus is on practical practice in various situations and scenarios using case studies.
