Normally, the patient determines the tactics of the medical assistants. In special situations (natural disasters, rampages or terrorist attacks, mass casualties in major accidents, etc.), the situation determines the tactics of the first responders.

platinum 5 minutes and golden hour

The focus is on the measures that are crucial for the survival of patients in the first five minutes (platinum 5 minutes) and in the following hour (golden hour).

TCCC/PHTLS

These measures, which are summarized under the term Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and derived from the American PHTLS concept (Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support), are divided into the following phases:

  • Care under fire
  • Tactical Field Care
  • Tactical Evacuation Care

Stop life-threatening bleeding

We prepare you for possible injury patterns in unusual situations. You will learn tactical medicine techniques to help yourself or others in special situations. Course focus is control of life-threatening bleeding.

Trainers and target groups

The training of these measures is carried out by practitioners with experience of deployment abroad exclusively for emergency services from authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS) and the military.
