Basic seminar “Tactical self-protection”

The “Tactical Self-Safety” seminar is specifically designed for medical and non-medical personnel in the emergency services and fire brigade.

Using typical situations and operations in “everyday” rescue services as well as in special situations, participants learn in theory and practice to systematically recognize and assess risks, avoid dangers and act correctly in acute dangerous situations.

 


Develop an understanding of dangers and act correctly

The aim of the course is to gain a basic understanding of risks and acute dangers in conflict-prone rescue service operations with the ability to decide and practically implement effective self-protection measures.


Theoretical and practical topics (selection)

  • Situation awareness and hazard analysis at the scene
  • Perpetrator profiles and threat situations in the emergency services with case studies
  • Tactical rules for amok and terrorist situations
  • Self-protection in/on the vehicle
  • Approaching and moving around the building
  • Detecting explosive traps in buildings and on people
  • Function of weapons and unconventional explosive and incendiary devices (IEDs)
  • Quickly rescue and recover injured people
  • Self- and team protection for aggressive people/groups
  • etc

The price per person is €275 (plus VAT) and includes the training, working documents if applicable, and full board (snack, lunch, coffee, sweets and non-alcoholic conference drinks)
