“The Baden-Württemberg Police Central Training Center (ZTZ) is to be set up on the TCRH site,” confirms Renato Gigliotti from the press office of the Ministry of the Interior, Digitalization and Migration when asked by RNZ. In the future, the focus will be on training “special operational situations”. “In addition, the northern operational training center of the Heilbronn police headquarters is to be set up in Neckarelz,” adds Gigliotti.

Baden-Württemberg Police University establishes location in Mosbach

The operational training department (IBET) of the Baden-Württemberg Police University (HfPol) is responsible for the future police operational training center. All Baden-Württemberg police officers and police students are trained here for life-threatening situations such as anti-amok or anti-terror.

The training scenarios from the TCRH Training Center Rescue and Help provide a realistic background for this. To train the officers, police operational trainers are employed at the location, supplemented by administrative staff.
