Open day for hunters at the TCRH Training Center Rescue and Help

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, a good 50 interested hunters and dog handlers came to the Rescue and Help Training Center in the TCRH Mosbach Mosbach to find out about the carcass test project.

At the beginning, BRH President and project manager Jürgen Schart welcomed the participants and presented the project.

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, all hunting managers, hunters and dog handlers are cordially invited to the Training Center Rescue and Help (Luttenbachtalstraße 30, 74821 Mosbach).

Measures in the event of major disasters

Earthquakes can lead to major damage. The first measures that have proven successful in international aid are first-response teams, which are trained according to uniform, internationally valid criteria. The TCRH Mosbach offers numerous scenarios for the practical education and training of such Urban Search & Response Teams (USAR).

First Baden-Württemberg search teams examined

In the first training round in March and April 2022, 20 teams completed basic training as cadaver test teams over three weekends and were successfully tested at various performance levels.

After the training of the first cadaver test dogs, which are supposed to search for the dead wild boars during the outbreak of African swine fever (ASF), has successfully begun, the project of the TCRH Training Center Rescue and Help Mosbach is now entering the next round.

For 16 years, Helmut Haller, as BRH President, shaped and directed the fortunes of the world's largest and oldest rescue dog organization.
