Biological and technical tracking to combat ASF

The TCRH (Training Center Rescue and Help) has been commissioned by the Ministry of Food, Rural Areas and Consumer Protection Baden-Württemberg (MLR) to train and provide search teams (search dog teams, emergency services, technical location, additional measures).

In the event of an outbreak of African swine fever (ASF), the teams are deployed to efficiently search for dead wild boar in Baden-Württemberg or other federal states.


Competent reinforcement of the project team

Since mid-February 2022, Dr. Christina Jehle Member of the “ASP Cadaver Experiments” project team at the TCRH. The veterinarian is an active hunter and dog handler and has many years of experience in hunting association work.

Your tasks consist of communicating and coordinating topics relevant to training and operations with the veterinary authorities, as well as with all target groups and associations from hunting, forestry, agriculture and research.

She is responsible for the supervision and deployment of the hunting support teams in collaboration with the local hunting community. In addition to public relations for the project, she will organize nationwide training and information events for everyone involved.
